Right now, the Dodge Poetry Program is gearing up for its spring program Clearing the Spring, Tending the Fountain, for teachers of all grade levels and subject areas who live or work in New Jersey. With the guidance of a Dodge Poet, teachers and colleagues share old favorites and newly-discovered poems  in a supportive, welcoming and collegial atmosphere. Writing is not a requirement.

Throughout March and April, Spring & Fountain sessions will be held all over New Jersey, in a variety of time slots and locations to fit every type of schedule.

For the first time, this program is going paperless! If you’re interested in Spring & Fountain and you’re not on our Teacher’s Mailing List, you can join here. If you’re already signed up, keep an eye on your email inbox, because all of your Spring & Fountain news will arrive electronically.

The Dodge Poetry Program is working to keep all of our programs as green as we can, and we’re starting by reducing paper waste in your mailbox. You won’t receive our usual paper mailer telling you about registration, so here are some things we want you to know:

  • Registration will begin on Monday, February 9th. We will email you our full list of site locations, as well as a link to registration. All updates will also appear on our Spring & Fountain page.
  • We will have 3-Week and 6-Week sessions available across the state, led by Dodge Poets.
  • The Common Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 9th in Princeton. We hope you’ll join us for this special day of poetry, with a surprise guest poet! Stay tuned!

We hope you will join us for these poetry exploration groups this Spring!
