Poems from the Spring & Fountain Leaders’ Meeting

Posted on by Dodge Poetry Staff

Each year, before Spring & Fountain, our poetry program for teachers, begins we meet with all of the Dodge Poets who will lead sessions around the state. We all come together to discuss the program, and we actually take part in a Spring & Fountain style session – we each bring 4 poems of our own to read aloud, with copies for everyone.

Each year, we like to share with you the poems we all had the change to discover in this meeting. In no particular order, these are the poems our group chose to read aloud to one another. We hope you find some poems you enjoy!

    Wow! Fantastic choices!

My computers (both laptop and desktop, egad!) were tangled and not working for a day, back up again now; but I’m way behind… and Not Sure whether I can download the poems on the list here, hope I can; will if I can. It looks like a terrific list! I have no idea what I would have added, but…
and our Spring/Fountain sessions are swimming along really well, it’s my pleasure to tell you.
Meanwhile, sometime in the next 24 hours I’ll try to look at these poems AND will also go back to the information about the Common Gathering and let you know what I might like to do there/then.

    Regards, Madeline
